Business update

Two weeks have passed already. It has been an amazing start for our new shipping, transport and insurance law firm in the Hull & Humber region.

Predictably we have encountered the odd teething problem but we have all pulled together to resolve them, an example of real teamwork. It has been hard work but great fun as well. We are where we wanted to be at this stage – in fact we are ahead of where we wanted to be.

We are learning something each day which is incredibly rewarding. The most important lesson we have learned (although we knew this already) came to us early, through dealings with our own suppliers. We have been reminded that good communication and customer service is absolutely paramount and we will ensure that we bear this in mind in everything that we do.

We have already had several new instructions which is fantastic and we have been genuinely taken aback at the level of support and encouragement we have received. Clients, old and new, are attracted to what we are trying to achieve and want to join us on our journey.

We had the pleasure of making our first trip this week since starting the company to visit some of our clients. This provided the opportunity to thank them in person for their support and to explain in more detail our business model, services and initiatives. We will be visiting other clients over the coming days and weeks but we would like to say, now, how grateful we were for all the messages of support we have received.

We are well on our way to becoming the premier shipping, transport and insurance law firm in the area.
