Marine Hull insurance law
Representatives of the shipping and marine insurance business community met at Myton Law’s offices by the banks of the River Humber on a sunny Monday, June 21, to consider the latest developments in marine hull insurance law.
Delegates came from as far a field as Barrow in Furness, Durham, Liverpool, Middlesbrough and London for the one day seminar at our invitation, with strong representation also from Hull’s own shipping and insurance sector.
We were keen to take the initiative in keeping ship owners, insurers and insurance brokers abreast of current case law and were delighted that leading shipping law barristers from Stone Chambers , Neil Henderson and James Shirley, addressed the delegates.

John Habergham says, “The event was intended to bring the shipping industry up to date with current law and look at the implications of recent court cases and how they may affect ship owners and marine insurers.”
