Gordon Sewell

Solicitor

Gordon is a solicitor specialising in all aspects of marine law particularly personal injury and goods in transit claims. He also has experience in general commercial litigation including contractual disputes, breach of duty and debt recovery.

Called to the bar in 2005, Gordon completed his bar vocational course at the University of Northumbria attaining the overall grade of ’very competent’ with a notable grade of ‘outstanding’ in advocacy. Keen to build his experience, Gordon took up employment in a law firm specialising in personal injury claims and regularly assisted the Citizens Advice Bureau as a duty legal advisor.

In 2008, Gordon completed his qualified lawyers transfer examination before moving in to shipping and transport law assisting Scott Yates and John Habergham. He continues to utilise his skill and experience to the benefit of the clients. He has a sensible down to earth approach which is well received.
