Scott Yates
Director & Solicitor
Scott is a co-founder and director of Myton Law.
He became a solicitor in 1993 and spent 18 years at another Hull law firm before forming Myton law.
Scott specialises in marine casualty work. He has developed a national reputation, particularly, for his expertise dealing with marine personal injury and fatal accident incidents. Scott is a vastly experienced investigator of marine incidents. Where such incidents give rise to claims he regularly assists clients from the initial investigation through to final resolution whether that be via litigation, mediation or negotiation.
Scott's all round experience in this field enables him to advise on all matters relating to health & safety procedures as well as provide safety training and safety auditing services.
He acts for a wide range of P&I Clubs, hull & machinery insurers; ship owners and a variety of other organisations involved in the shipping, transport and logistics sectors who appreciate his common sense approach and personable manner.
