New Director joins Myton Law

We are pleased to welcome Chris Thornes as a Director and Solicitor to Myton Law.

Chris joined on 1 July 2016 from DB Gargo UK where he was Head of Commercial Law as well as being General Counsel for Schenker Limited.

Chris’ background is providing advice in relation to Commercial Property transactions ranging from small scale landlord and tenant transactions up to large scale property acquisition, disposal and redevelopment projects.

With over 10 years working in the Rail Freight industry Chris is an expert in the field of negotiating rail related legal documents including rail freight haulage contracts, procurement contracts (including rolling stock) and legal documentation related to major rail related projects.

Chris has spent the last 8 years providing general counsel support to Schenker Limited and is able to support and advise on a wide range of transport and legal issues including negotiation of various transport documents, contract logistics facilities and freight forwarding.

Chris' appointment reaffirms Myton Law's commitment to supporting its existing clients as well as providing opportunities for further growth.
