Biography

Matthew joined Myton Law in January 2023.

Expertise

Matthew studied law at Derby before going on to complete a Masters in Professional Legal Practice (incorporating the LPC) via the University of Law, Leeds.

 Shortly after completing his Masters, the Covid-19 pandemic struck the UK delaying Matthew’s entry into the legal profession. Despite this delay, Matthew worked on the local roll out of the Mass Vaccination Programme before returning to the legal industry and taking up a role as a claims assessor for a national personal injury practice. From here Matthew joined a Manchester based HR and Employment consultancy provider in their litigation department dealing with employment tribunal disputes. 

 Returning to his hometown of Scunthorpe, Matthew joined Myton Law in January 2023 to explore new areas of law and further develop his knowledge and skills.

 Matthew currently works across all of Myton Laws practice areas and manages his own litigation caseload, including debt recovery and commercial disputes.
