Hull Heritage Open Days 2019

We are delighted again to be able to open our office to the public for Heritage Open Days 2019.

Visitors will have the opportunity of to learn about the history of this important maritime building and to see the extensive and sympathetic refurbishment that we gave it after purchasing the building in 2015.

We are also excited that members of the United Towage & Salavge Society will be presenting an exhibition of highly detailed models of the company’s famous tugs.

These vessels operated all over the world. This will be together with a collection of historical official documents and memorabilia from the company’s archives.

Society Members will be in attendance for the full seven days to answer any questions which the public may have about the 50 years occupation of the building by what was then one of the largest tug companies in the world. Riverside House served as the global operational base for Hull Associated Tugowners (later to become United Towing Co. Ltd).
