Myton Law Attend Offshore Energy Exhibition in Amsterdam

Scott Yates was part of a delegation representing the Northern Powerhouse to one of Europe's leading offshore energy exhibitions and conferences.

For more than 12 years the Offshore Energy Exhibition and Conference ("OEEC") has been unique in bringing together the offshore energy industry sectors oil & gas, offshore wind and marine energy. This year saw more than 550 exhibitors from around the world present their newest services, projects and innovative products.

Scott Yates attended as one of 60 Northern Powerhouse companies at the event, which took place in Amsterdam between 8 and 9 October 2019, as part of a trade mission organised by the Department for International Trade Yorkshire & Humber, to showcase a wide range of skills, expertise, products and services relevant to the offshore energy sector and offshore wind in particular.

Myton Law was the only law firm invited to participate on the trade mission acknowledging our position as the region's premier shipping and renewable energy law practice.

OEEC 2019 gave Scott the opportunity to meet up with potentially new and exisitng clients as well as to learn more about the technological developments in the sector which continues to strive to drive the cost of energy production down.

Overall, an excellent trip.
