Myton Law advises Packing Group on its Acquisition of Delta Pack

12/05/2017

Grafham Holdings has taken a majority stake in Delta Pack, which makes 400 million paper bags per year for the retail and food market.

Kent-based Grafham Holdings is made up of five packaging companies. Delta Pack is a supplier of retail packaging solutions (RPS), which makes pizza boxes, trays and tray liners from its factory in Sutton-in-Ashfield and was bought by Grafham in 2016.

Grafham's group finance director Kevin Beamon said Delta Pack is a "good fit" for the group.

"We believe it's a business we can develop quickly over the next few years," he added. "This investment also contributes to our plans for continue growth through both organic business development and acquisition."

Other Grafham companies include £10m-turnover Hovat, PH Labels and Wydata.

Myton Law advised the group on the transaction.

James Westwood, corporate and commercial lawyer, added: "Following our work for Grafham Holdings advising on the earlier acquisition of RPS in 2016, we were delighted to support Grafham once again and wish them continued success."
